It is not easy to locate the Sri Maha Sakthi Mohambigai Amman Temple. It is a small temple which is part of Midvalley City which is a mega structure. The temple is in between the car park entrances into the megamall. Thus, if you want to visit the temple, be sure to slow down when you are passing Midvalley city. The temple is easy to miss.

The Sri Maha Sakthi Mohambigai Amman Temple is really a unique sight. Who would have expected to see a humble temple in the midst of all the gargantuan buildings around it? It is said that this temple is the most revered Hindu shrines in the whole of Malaysia. Many visitors come to the Sri Maha Mohambigai Amman temple for its intricate statues of Hindu gods and spiritual masters. Just the work of art of the interior and exterior of the temple makes the shrine worth a visit.

This temple is built in dedication to the goddess of Mohambigai. The temple is a huge attraction among the tourists due to its colorful flower stalls and the never ending throngs of devotees coming to worship the goddess of Mohambigai. This temple is also a famous venue for weddings among the Indian community. After visiting the temple, you can head towards the Midvalley Megamall for some serious shopping and eating. Midvalley Megamall is so huge that it houses hundreds of shops and departmental stores in it.

If you are a fan of designer brands, you can head towards The Gardens where you can find brands like Karen Millen, Kate Spade, LV and so on. Food here is also plentiful with restaurants serving steaks like the San Francisco Steakhouse, to sushi at Sushi King. There are even food courts here. They are the Cititel Midvalley, Gardens & Residences Midvalley and the Boulevard Hotel Midvalley.

Transport

There are many modes of transportation to get to the temple or to Midvalley Megamall. You can either get on the KTM Komuter and stop at the Midvalley Station. You can also take the Kelana Jaya Line LRT and stop at the Universiti station. From here, get on the feeder bus T631 and it will take you to Midvalley Megamall. For Metrobus, get on the bus number 99 and it will bring you straight to Midvalley Megamall.
